Is there a way to install microsoft office 2007 when I already have microsoft
office 1997 on an XP operating system?

It has already been downloaded on 2 computers in a different household.

Hi Julie,

Only MS Office Student and Teachers Retail edition allows more than two computers to use Office 2007. Other Office 2007 retail
editions allow one user to have the product on two computers (one should be 'portable') but that's the basic limit.

Hi Rick,

There isn't a limit during installation for how many computers you can run Setup on, only on getting an activation code after doing
so. There also is no check or notice sent to Microsoft when you uninstall. If you aren't able to activate online after
uninstalling on one computer and installing on another then use the telephone activation method to speak to an activation rep.

on one of the older computers so the software will work when I install it on
the new one? >>
