Install office 2007

today i bought a office 2007 basic edition but there where no cd to install
it with. only a product key. now microsoft tells me i have to ask for a cd(+
15€) and i might have to wait up to 28 days... or i can download the software
if only i am a registered microsoft user...what should i do?

ok...but i need it in another language...and there is no office basic to
download because it is a oem version.

I really think you would achieve success working with the computer
vendor who supplied your OEM version. Your technical support is through
them, not Microsoft.

ok...i just ordered a master kit from my supplier with 4 kind of cd. but
microsoft did tell me i could download it from the site...but since the basic
is a oem version i do not find a evaluation version to licese thru the
product key

I am getting very confused now. The OEM version SHOULD have been
INSTALLED by the computer vendor before you received the PC. The Trial
download is the Evaluation. I don't believe you may "activate" the trial
as the OEM version (but I could be wrong) I was understanding you had
somehow broken your OEM installation and did not have the method to
install. Only choice I saw was ordering the media but using the trial in
the meantime.

i am the computer vendor...but i buy the pieces and do assemble them. i
bought, for my client, a basic 2007 office and did not receive a media...just
the product key.
that was yesterday. today i bought a master cd kit(something like that)
which contains all versions of the office suit(it will arrive tomorrow). it
will cost me about 6 or 7 euros. in april it would cost me 250 euros. all my
clients will have to come back to me, or any other store, to reinstall the
office program.

tomorrow i will tell you how it went...thanks for your interest

Ah! Thank you for the further explaination. Most posts like this are
from the end user trying to find the media for their OEM install. Yes
you appear to be doing ok, you will need to read the system builder
agreement as to providing an install method for the customer to use,
post delivery.

finaly i received 4 cd's and managed to install the basic suite.

i did not undestand what you ment by: "you will need to read the system
