Install Office 97

I can't load Office 97, Standard Edition (it's an
upgrade) on my new computer. It searches the hard disk
and cannot find the needed files (which are listed on the
box we no longer have). How can I get this to work
without buying another version? I know it's old but for
home use it's acceptable; I've successfully used it on
the old computer and would like to transfer it over. I
hate to learn the Wordperfect Suite that came with the
computer....

If you used it on the old pc you must have had qualifying apps. If you still
have qualifying apps on cd point the 97 install to these when its searching.
If you no longer have the cd's ,or disks, then yr only options are to borrow
or buy an old qualifying app, or buy a new Office app
