install office on XP Professional with 64 bit processor

I am upgrading to a new computer and have tried to install Office 2000 but I
keep getting an invalid license. Even though I have used it on the machine I
am replacing.

Does Windows XP on a 64 Bit Processor machine require a different key than
Windows XP Home edition on 32 bit machine?
