install outlook 2000 as stand alone

I would like to install Outlook 2000 in place of the new Windows Live Message.
Can this be done?

Reason: I cannot import a lot of e-mail addresses into Windows Live Message,
and I am receiving messages from Road Runner that I am at near capacity (5.0
Meg limit).

Presently I am using the Office 2007 Home and Student Trial and plan to
update to Office 2007 Standard at a latter date.

Outlook 2k is not compatible with Vista or Win7
There are some workarounds

A Trial version does not qualify you for an upgrade version

Yes, but not for WIndows Vista or Windows 7.

Changing mail clients will not affect the Road Runner limits in any way
whatsoever. You're leaving your messages on the server. Road Runner will
complain no latter what client you use because it is the server-side mailbox
that's full, not the Windows Live Mail Inbox.
