:I want to start off by saying that I have spent the last three days trying
to get BCM install. I have read all the posts in this forum that I could find
and followed any steps that I thought would help.
At first I was getting the message that the program installed successfully
but MSSQL wouldn't install. so I followed some steps found here for that.
Then I decided when those didn't work that I would just remove everything
including MS Office 2007, All the Registry keys that pertained to the
programs.
I have listed here all the registry keys I backed up and removed:
LEGACY_MSSQL$MSSMLBIZ
Microsoft Small Business Management
Microsoft SQL Native Client
Microsoft SQL Server
MSSQL$MSSMLBIZ
MSSQLServerADHelper
MSXML60
SBASQLInstance
SQLBrowser
Then I re-install the programs. I then got a new error "Install SQL
Server2005 Error:[Native Client]Encryption not supported on the client"
I was ready to just forget it and use the copy on my Laptop. I did a search
and found this link

I followed the 5th step down bu Mike and it worked like a charm.
I am not a techie and so I don't know why this worked but it did and I
wanted to share just in case it can help one more person.
