Installation disk

B

Broken disk

When trying to install the installation disk on my new desktop, the disk
cracked and broke all to pieces in the drive. Naturally the HP has locked up.
Can I get pieces out with a vacuum cleaner? Will Microsoft replace the
installation disk?

And invalidate the warranty by shorting out just about every component?!

Will
Microsoft replace the installation disk?

If it came with the system, no. HP is responsible for all support -
including keys and media. You will need to contact HP.
