Installation Error: File not Found

E

Earthman

I am installing a brand new out of the box copy of Office Pro 2003, and
receive the error:

A required installation file YH561411.CAB could not be found

I have checked the CD and it does exist, I copied the file to my hard drive,
opened it and it seems fine. I tried pointing the installer to the local
copy of the file, and I receive the same error.

Any suggestions as to how to get by this would be greatly appeciated. Thanks!

Try cleaning the CD, or try copying the entire CD to your hard driv, running
setup from there, and see if that helps.

I tried both of those options, and installing from the hard drive I get the
same error but with a different file now.

Is there anywhere to download these files, in the event that they may be
corrupted on my cd?

I attempted both solutions, but even when installing from the hard drive I
get the same error, but pertaining to a different cab file this time.

Is there anywhere to doanload these files, in case my disc is corrupted?
