Installation Error

I recently bought InfoPath 2007 and I have not been able to load the
software. I keep getting a message D:/sku011.cab verify that the file is
..... I have tried the step of copying files to the desktop from the disk and
loading it from the new file. That has not worked. I am open to other
suggestions. It doesn't seem right that Microsoft would sell a defective
product and then not offer free support to correct it. I realize that it is
the purpose of this forum to address such problems, but I have posted this
message in other areas and have not got an answer. As you can tell I am
starting to show my frustration.
