Installation not starting

MS-DOS and Microsoft Windows application" That message comes up but I have
Windows XP Home Edition

Start - Run - Look for the Setup file on the CD (Or is it Install? I can
never remember which,)

When I insert the student and teacher edition it does not start.
Nothing
