Installation of Microsoft SQL Server Desktop Engine Did Not Comple

Hello,

Please can someone help me.

I got the following error message when installing BCM on our server.

"Business Contact Manager for Outlook Setup Wizard cannot continue because
the installation of Microsoft SQL Server Desktop Engine did not complete
successfully. Business Contact Manager for Outlook files will be removed from
your computer. Try installing Business Contact Manager for Outlook again."

I have confirmed:

- I have local administrator rights on our server
- The product installs on other computers just fine
- We have outlook 2003 with SP1 running

Has anyone else had this problem before?

Yes,

I experienced this. I tried it again after rebooting my system and making
sure that nothing else was running and it installed just fine. Good luck!
