I downlaoded the file and double clicked, after about a minute a pop up says
do you want to install, click yes and another pop up says Failure to
install????

I have the same problem!!! I downloaded the french beta and nothing happen...

When I try to unpack with win-Rar, I have "Corrupted archive" error message...

Since installing the beta yesterday on my test machine, a Dell X Pro, 3.02
with a Gig of Ram, all my open windows are blinking around the frames! When I
open the start programs menu it opens for two seconds and abruptly shuts. The
Windows Desktop Search on the task bar is constantly blinking as well. IE 7
blinks off and on on the top border bar of the browser. Essentially
impossible to use. The beta updated my Office Pro 2003. Applications seem to
work but I can't activate because it says I have no connection, which is
false. Restart and cold boot don't help.

Hi Chhiro,

Interesting. What items were in MS Config (startup tab?) that you unchecked?

Addendum: I removed all checks from msconfig and rebooted and the flickering
is gone. Still can't activate but that will no doubt come with time.

I unchecked everything and rebooted. I can't take the time to test each one
and see which one was culpable. I did go back and check my Nod32 and the
rest will restart as I end up using the various applications. I wish I could
answer your question.

From what I have been able to glean, the Internet Services function is
creating the problem. The server is probably overloaded, which creates the
internet connection issue, as well as the flickering (I saw this on my
monitor the first install but then it changed to audio clicking on subsequent
reinstalls). I loaded Office, Visio, Project and the Business Contact Manager
and all have the same issue. Waiting out MS for resolution is probably the
only way at the moment. Hopefully, to sign up for the Internet Services won't
require a reinstall.

There are seversal possibilities. Are you logged in as Administrator when activating the software?

What is the exact message you're getting and the steps you're following?

Did you previously have a beta version of Office 2007 installed?

I downloaded Office Pro 2007 Trial -- Won't activate even after 3 tries. It
asks me to activate EVERY time I open a program and ALL docs are locked and
unuseable. HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Website e-mail tech support
option won't accept the product ID, therefore I cannot contact tech support.
