installation problem with Office 2000

When I try to install 2000 I get this message and I can't
get it to load.

An Exception OE has occured at 0028:00000009 in VxD---
SThis was called from 0028:C182FD38INVxD
SCSi1hlp(03)+00000508

Any clues folks?????????
