Installation source not available

When I try to remove or change Office 2003 I receive the message "The
installation source for this product is not availavle." I also tried using
the CD but it did not automatically launch and when I opened the files on the
CD and tried the Setup I received the same message. How do correct this
problem?

Have a look at MS Knowledge Base article 295823. It sorted things out
for me
