I have suddenly started having problems with Word 2003. If I try to
open a .doc file I get a preparing to install message dialog which
then disappears and nothing happens.
If I put the Office 2003 installation cd into my cd drive and try
to open a .doc file I get a dialog with the message :
The installation source for this product is not available.
Verify that the source exists and that you can access it.
If I navigate to the cd drive in explorer and select Autoplay using
the right mouse button then the cd opens in explorer, the same thing
happening if I put the cd into the cd drive and let it autoplay.
If I double click setup.exe on the cd I again receive the above
message about the installation source not being available.
Can anyone help ?
