Installation trouble on new computer

G

GaryJ

I just got a new computer and am trying to install FronPage 2002. I have all of the original stuff including cd-rom with Product Key, but it keeps telling me it's an invalid Product Key.

Any suggestions?

Gary

If it's same CD you used to install on your other machine, select the activate by phone option.

It's the same CD, but it won't let me get past the "Microsoft Frontpage 2002 Setup" page without the Product Key.

Product keys are CaSe sensitive. Also be careful with 6 and G and zero ( 0 ) and upper case O

Steve:

Thanks - no "6"'s or "G"'s in this Product Key, and I've tried both "0" and "O" for the "round" characters.

Calling the phone number indicates a $35 charge - I was trying to avoid spending $35 for the Product Key for something I've already bought and paid for.

These are great suggestions - any other?

If you still have the computer with the original installation, go here:
http://www.belarc.com/free_download.html
and download and run Belarc Advisor on the machine it is installed in.
If the installation is valid, it will return a page with the Product Key on it.
( and a lot of other useful information )
