installation trouble

I am having installing Powerpoint 2002. I am getting a
product compliance check. I get an error 1608 stating it
can not find a qualifying product. What steps need to be
done. Thanks

Nick,

This sounds like you have an "upgrade"....the upgrade is trying to find the
product "that qualifies" for the upgrade

e.g. powerpoint 2000 to powerpoint 2002 or office 2000 to office xp.

The setup routine normally looks for files on your hard disk or CD1 or Disk
