Installation

I have Office 2003 installed and running great. No powerpoint however. I have
Powerpoiint on "Office 2000 Standard" but I am afraid to install it because I
may lose Outlook 2003 because when I run the install it wants to install the
entire 2000 program. . Can I simply install Powerpoint off the "2000" disc
without damaging the "2003" installation?

Thanks

You can, I have 2000, xp and 2003 installed as I need to check that
presentation I write will work on all.

Use the links from the others, but generally speaking, do a custom install
off the 2000 disks so you can choose to install just PPT.

I saw no place in teh custom install where I could select just PPT. That was
the problem. Any ideas where and when that 'choice' happens? Did I mis it? I
chose "custom install" but no choice ever presented tslef...

I don't know -- at some point, you should get to a place where you can
choose what programs to install.

You may just get a list in Office 2000. It looks almost like a folder
list -- you'd have to go through and turn off (make "not available") the
stuff you don't want and set the PPT stuff to run from hard drive.
