I get error message "macros are desables in this project,
please enable macros" whenever I startup Word 2003. How
do I enable the macros and end this error message?

In Tools > Macro > Security, set the security level to Medium. On the
second tab of the same dialog, check the option for trusting installed
add-ins and templates.
