Installed Office 2007, where did the desktop search toolbar go?

The toolbar is gone. When I right click on the task bar it isn't listed as
an option.

If I download the MSN desktop search toolbar and try to install it, it says
I have a newer version installed.

I know this stuff is beta, but c'mon! I need that toolbar.

You installed WDS 3 Beta, the next version of Windows Desktop Search
(the technology behind the MSN desktop search toolbar). Currently there
is no UI for WDS 3.
You'll have to uninstall WDS 3 (and lose Instant Search in Outlook and
OneNote) to get your desktop search back.
