Installed Office H & S over Office 2003

Successfully installed Office 2007 H & S over 2003 and maintained the 2003
version of Outlook. Every time I open any function, office, outlook, even
explorer, I get prompting that 2003 office setup is happening, and then a
prompt to insert 2003 disk. How do I get rid of this nuisance?

If it shows that one or more files are missing and gives you the name of the
file as well as browse option to point to the file... I would first insert
the Office disc and then browse to your CD-ROM drive right from that
notification message to see if it will pick up the missing file (if in fact
some file is missing).
if the above doesn't help, I would go to Control Panel > Add/Remove and run
Repair on that Office installation. If that doesn't help either, then I would
uninstall that Office version, restart and reinstall it.

I hope this helps....

Preston,

Sorry I misread your post. I did see a similar issue posted on
Experts-Exchange, there was a registry hack that takes care of it when it
happens to Word. I don't have that registry hack with me right now. If I find
it, I will post the solution.
