I have installed Office Profession edition 2003, am trying to configure my
mail account so that I use ISP. But when the mail wizard finishes and i
connect to outlook i get the following message: the connection the the
microsoft exchange server is unavailable. outlook must be online or connected
to complete this action. I use broadband and always connected, is it
something to do with the default on the mail section ???? help please???

You have not only defined a POP account, perhaps, but you also have an
Exchange account defined. Open the Mail applet in Control Panel and click
the E-mail Accounts button. Select the Exchange account and click Remove.
Try starting Outlook again.
