However the problem remains.
What is strange is that if I logon as another user it works fine.
I made another new user it also works fine!
Registry data is the same for all.
That indicates that the other Windows user accounts have permissions on at
least one key file that your current Windows user account does not have.
Now, whether or not you actually _use_ these key files doesn't seem to
matter, since you are otherwise able to open and use Access without a hitch.
Access is checking these key files whenever you open a database and deciding
that you need to have something more installed to meet the proper
configuration.
If you give your Windows user account Windows "Administrator" permissions,
your problem will likely go away, if not immediately, then after the next
re-installation of Office.
