Installing 2003 Office/ with the 2007 already installed...

I have 2007 Office installed on my computer. I need to install 2003 Office
for a computer class from my college. My question is should I uninstall the
2007, before installing 2003, and will this make my computer act up?

The MS reccommended method is to install earlier version first, update,
amend shortcuts eg Word>Word03 before installing later version.
You can only install a single instance of outlook
