I installed Activesync 4 which has now broken my calendar in Outlook 2003. I
cant add any appointment now. HELP!!

And removing Activesync does what?

did not fix it. I reinstalled it twice, still no joy, and then used the
"fix" function in windows, it is sort of working. It is still battling to
sync over IR though, takes forever and there's certain notes and certain
files it just can not get to synchronise. Says something about not enough
memory though there's plenty memory available.

You may get better results from asking in the ActiveSync newsgroup
