installing and configuring access 97

one of my client uses windows 2000 and he wants to use access 97 on his pc.
after successful installation of office 97 the access gives some
certificate/authentication error and shuts down while all other office
applications are running smoothly what steps should i follow to run access 97
perfectly on windows 2000 platform m/c

What's the exact error? If it's "Microsoft Access can't start because there
is no license for it on this machine.", that's a common problem usually
caused by, of all things, a font.
