How do I install new fonts from a drag-and-drop disk into Word X for
Mac? I have a G4 PowerMac running OS9/OSX.2. I'm using OSX and I've
tried placing fonts into every "Font" folder I can find, but they
don't appear in any font menu. The font disk is a 1999 Adobe Image
Club typeface library called Letterpress 7.0. The weird thing is that
I think I did add some fonts successfully several months ago.
Nothing seems to work now.

Are they Postscript fonts? If so, you need to make sure the AFM files are
added, and that the fonts are not inside their own individual folders.

Check MacHelp in the Finder's Help Menu for more on font installation.

Also, whatever you do, don't add anything to the System/Library/Fonts
folder.
