Hi:
I am trying to install this version on my brand new computer. However, when
I run Setup.exe I get a message that it has reconfigured Office 2007 on the
computer but I cannot find any evidence of Office programs that I can use on
my computer. It also does not go through any of the usual setup stuff, it
just runs for a a minute or so and then tells me it has reconfigured Office.
No prompting for product key or anything. Then I tried activating the trial
version that came with the computer in case I needed to that in the hope that
it would prompt me for the product key when the trial period ends.
However it gave me a message that I would have to go to microsoft.com to
complete the activation but once I got there I couldn't figure out where I
needed to go or what I actually needed to do. I am getting really frustrated
since I spent money to buy Office but have not been able to use anything.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
