Installing Microsoft Office Home and Student 2007

My parents bought Microsoft Office Home and Student 2007 for my laptop, but
when I put the disk in the drive it won't run. My computer doesn't even
recognize there is a disk there. What can I do?

You can make sure that your laptop has a DVD drive to run Microsoft
Office Home and Student 2007 DVD. All computers don't have DVD drives
as a matter of course because it is cheaper to install a CD-drive for
the manufacturer.

Once you have checked this and you have found that you don't have a DVD
drive then you need to buy an external one which can be attached to your
USB port and run the DVD from there.
