Installing: Microsoft Word Feature

I've recently starting getting an "error" message as soon as I open any MS
Office application. On opening the application - Word, Excel, PPT - I get a
pop-up box titled "Installing Components for Microsoft xxxx". Inside the box
it says, "Installing: Microsoft xxxx Feature" and takes me through a step
where I insert the original MS Office source disk. After it reads the disk,
the app works OK. If you cancel out of the install step, it closes the
application.

I uninstalled MS Office, rebooted and reinstalled MS Office. Then installed
SP3 for Office.

Ran Symantic deep scan and Spybot scan. Nothing unusual.

It's still doing it.

The computer is a Dell GX270, WinXP Pro, 2gb RAM, 300gb drive.

Help! Any ideas?

Log in as Administrator and then run Word. It will follow the same procedure
again but should be OK thereafter.
