Installing MS Office '03 over MS Office'07 Beta

I don't know if you *can* but if you want to use both versions, you need to
install them in the order they were released. Plus you can only have one
version of Outlook.

Why would you bother with the beta though? It's buggy and will expire
March 31 anyhow. If you want to use 2007 parallel to 2003, get the trial
version from http://trymicrosoftoffice.com. A trial is good for 60 days,
so that'll put you towards the end of March as well.
As JoAnn said, you have to remove 07 first, then install 03 followed by
07 again. Only one version of Outlook is allowed and if you download the
trial, Outlook 03 will by default not be replaced with 07. To get 07
with the trial, you need to remove or not install Outlook 2003 before
you start the 2007 setup.

Sounds like a big PITA. I have 4 versions of Publisher on my system but only
one version of Office.
