Installing Office 2000 Error

Make a long story short, I installed Windows Dial-Up
Networking to use DSL and my Outlook would no longer load.
So I reinstalled Office 2000 Professional from the CDs
that I got from Dell when I purchased the computer. We
lost power in the middle of the install and now when I
launch the setup on the CD it says:
"Mcsft Office 2000 installer requires that you complete
setup up while logged in as the same user you first ran
setup on."
I used offcln9.exe to get rid of any old installs and
start fresh but I can get beyond this message. I haven't
changed user names or anything.
Ideas?
