installing Office 2003 student and teacher edition

S

sally

Currently run Windows XP, SP1 with Microsoft Works 6.0.
Wish to install Office 2003. Which type installation do
I chose - Upgrade or complete install... ? Don't wish to
keep Works 6.0 but do wish to maintain EMail address
book, office documents, etc. if possible. Put another
way - is Microsoft Works 6.0 considered a previous
version of Microsoft Office since it does not contain
Powerpoint?

No, it is not a previous edition as it is Works, not Office. If it were, it
would have been called Office.

None of your data is removed when you uninstall/upgrade. I was not aware
that Works HAD an email program.
