installing office 2003

When I try to install Office 2003 I am getting an error message as follows:
error 1913 setup cannot update file C:\WINNT\system\mapisvc.inf
Verify that the file exists in ou system and that you have sufficient
permission to update it.

I searched for the file but it doesn't exist - can anyone give me some
advice on what to do?

Hi, Gill,

It may be a permissions thing. Do you have sufficient permissions to write
to this folder?
