The box that comes up is
Setup has stopped working
A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close
the program and notify you if a solution is available.

It was an upgrade over XP.

Hmm. I'm not a guru but... did you do a reformat when you went from XP to
Vista or did you just install Vista on top of XP?

Were you having issues with XP? Is there a reason you chose not to do a
clean install?

Not my rules. Sorry. If you're getting an error message, write it down
and post it.

This is what I am getting.

Not without more specific information. That "something else" box is
very
helpful to know.

Where was software that dealt with AS400 that was already installed and
configured and it would save time to just upgrade.

I'm not saying that it's a bad idea to do an OS upgrade, however I strongly
recommend that you don't. Reinstalling software is never fun but I've heard
of so many people who end up with weird issues when upgrading that I
personally would never do it.

Did this cause you problem? I don't know. (I wouldn't be surprised if the
AS400 software barfed on Vista tho.)
