Installing Office 2010 over Office 2007?

I am currently running Office 2007 with Outlook 2007 which has lots of contacts, very
active Calendar, and quite a few folders in the Mail area. I will be getting Office 2010
shortly and am trying to figure out the best way to install it and retain all my
information into Outlook 2010. My plan is to not run both 2007 and 2010. Any insights
into how to get Office 2010 installed over Office 2007 and retain my information would be
greatly appreciated.

Thanks

By default, installing Office 2010 will uninstall Office 2007 first. Avoid
getting Office Home and Student or you will not have Outlook. Uninstalling
one version of Office and installing another will not endanger any existing
data but, as always, back up your data before making any changes.

Hi Brian, me again!

I installed Office 2010 over 2007 on both my desktop and laptop and everything seems to be
going ok. I am working to get use to the interface changes, but no problems. One
question, I do not have my Outlook Contacts, Calendar, and email folders on the laptop.
What files do I need to move from my desktop to the laptop to get access to those on my
laptop?

Thanks and maybe this one will make me leave you alone :)
