Installing Office 2010 Professional over Standard 2010

I recently installed Microsoft Office Standrd 2010 on a computer that
had 2007 (Professional Plus, I think). I realized after I installed it
that is the wrong version, I wanted to install 2010 Professional Plus.
Do you know if I can just put in the Pro Plus disc and go through the
upgrade process again or do I have to remove Standard first? I only
have the Volume License Key for Pro Plus. I'm not sure if I have the
key for Standard (they are different).

Nope. Key won't work. The VLK key you have is probably pirated to begin
with.
