installing office on xp

Hi:

I just upgraded to xp and am trying to install office
2000. Are they not compatable? i am new to office and
would like to know if i have to get office xp for my new
operating system.

You don't have to. Office 2000 will run on XP, however, Office XP is newer
than 2000 ;)
