Installing office student and tacher edition 2003

This might be a stupid question but can I instal office student and teacher
edition 2003 without losing everything I already have on my computer? Right
now i'm running windows xp.

If you currently do not have any version of Microsoft Office
installed on your computer, then installing Office 2003 STE
should not delete anything from the computer.
