installing outlook 2003 problem

I bought and installed Outlook 2003. After installation was complete I tried
to open Outlook 2003 but it asks for "Microsoft Exchange Server" and "Name".
I tried everything I know to fill in the boxes correctly, but it won't work.
What is this and how do I fix it? Lawrence

Shall I assume you are not using Exchange Server? Your Outlook profile
thinks you are and has configured Exchange as your default mail transport.
You need to configure a new Outlook profile and set it up with the correct
mail transport.
