Installing Project Server 2003 with SQL Server 2005

I have created a ProjectServer database in SQL Server 2005 outside of the
installation package and now when i try to connect to an existing db in the
Project Server 2003 installation, it asks for the MSProjectServerRole and
when i type both in, it says the server I entered is not responding. SQL
Server is definitely running, it's on the same box! Any suggestions?
Thanks in advance!!

Hi JRose,
Well it certainly works as I've done it several times, but a server time out
issue points to a problem outside of project server. Make sure the roles
exist within Enterprise Manager.

Hi Ben,
Should I use the default instance name MSSQLSERVER for the database server
name? and I'm fuzzy on the roles that need to exist. Can you help?
Thanks much!!!!

You did use "EditSite.exe" to create a new PS instance that pointed to
the 2005 database, right?

Just curious ...
