Installing updates from MS Office Website.

When I got to Windows update it finds several updates that I need for Office
2003. It installs successfully all updates for Windwos but none of the Office
Updates will install.

The current ones I am unable to install are as follows:

Update for Office 2003 (KB907417)
Update for Outlook 2003 (KB913807)
Security Update for Word 2003 (KB917334)
Security Update for PowerPoint 2003 (KB916518)
Update for Outlook 2003 Junk Email Filter (KB919031)
Security Update for Office 2003 (KB917151)
Security Update for Excel 2003 (KB918419)

Every new update just keeps getting added to the list of failed updates. How
do I fix this so I can update Office.

I solved it verifying if OSE.exe exists and if it is activated
If not, copy it from CDROM
and active it

OSE.exe is on my pc. It is in C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft
Shared\Source Engine. But there is no icon on the file. It is just a white
box with a blue border. When I click on it to execute it it does nothing.

I tried to find it on my Windows XP Pro disk and it is not there.

Thank you Gman for the responses and trying to be helpful.

I really appreciate it. But, In services the OSE.exe is already set to
manual. I even tried changing it to Automatic and still no og. Then I changed
it back to Manual and still no go.

Any other suggestions?

Thanks in advance
Adam

I had the same problem with this update...searched and searched and finally
found the following article: http://support.microsoft.com/?id=884298 which
contains instructions to modify some registry values. I followed the steps
exactly and was immediately able to successfully install the troublesome
updates. Hope this helps.
