When I try to install my Visio 2000 Professional on my
new Windows XP SP1 system I get the following error:

Installing Program Files locally... failed.
Error 1402. Could not open key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Visio\Visio 2000. Verify
that you have sufficient access to that key, or contact
your support personnel.

Perhaps you don't have admin priviledges?

If you do have admin priviledges and are getting this error, I would give
Tech Support a call.
