Installing XP Office Pro

I have Office 2000 installed, just purchased Office XP-
Pro, I am also running MSN8, how do I go about install
the XP Office Pro? Should it be a custom or what. There
are no installations like it once was.

Can anyone assist?

Hi, Larry,

If you purchased an upgrade, then let Office XP upgrade Office 2000. If you
want to do a custom install, you can select the components that you want
Office to install or upgrade. This is often safer so that you can have more
control over what is retained and what is removed from your previous
installation.
