Instant Messenger Integration

Im trying to integrate into a Front Page Website a button that is activated with MSN Messenger. Basically, if Greg activates his MSN Messenger, I would like the Home page for our company show customers who are browsing the site, that Greg is online, and then they can send him a message.

I'm just looking for basic suggestions of which direction to follow with this, probably a button graphic program, eg: lists of employees, with Online / Offline Status next to their name.

Im wondering if there IS some type of easy option allready in Front Page, but I can't seem to locate it.

Thank you in advance

Hi,

I'm sure Hotmail has this feature - why not just go there and study their
code, set up an account if you don't have one. Obviously it's going to be IE
only

I don't know if there's an add-in for FrontPage, but a quick Google search
turned up this solution:
http://www.onlinestatus.org/

If you administer your web server (i.e., you have local access) you can
install this onto your server (requires Java on the server) and place the
output into your site. If you don't have local access, there are some
hosted solutions there, as well.

If you try it out, please let us know how it works for you.
