Insterted Excel Tables are distorted in Word 2003

I'm having a problem on one machine where the excel tables are distorted on
the screen. Sometimes they print out fine, sometimes they don't. We've
recreated the tables, same thing. We also tried creating the tables in Excel
and paste special them in Word. Same thing. The curious part is that it is
only happening on 1 of 20 machines. I can't seem to figure it out. THe
machine is up to date on service packs.

Someone reported a similar problem, a while back, and tracked it down to the
default printer (the active printer). He had the generic text printer selected,
and this was distorting graphics. So you might check whether the printer driver
is damaged? (Try replacing it)

I tried switching the default printer and the same thing happened. I then
though it might be a damaged normal.dot but that wasn't it either.
