Integrating Microsoft Project Server with other applications

Is is possible to integrate Microsoft Project Server with
other apllications? I have my data stored in one of the
applications that i am using, now i want that data to be
transfered to Microsoft Project Server without manual
intervention. Does Microsoft Project Server provide any
API's using which i can transfer data into it from
another application? I have read about PDS methods calls,
but i am not very sure whether using it can i insert data
into the Microsoft Project Server.

You can integrate project by using vba and projects api.

PDS is the preferred method for sharing (including adding) data with Project
Server. See www.msdn.microsoft.com for examples on using PDS.
