Integration with Lotus Notes R5/6

Has anyone integrated with Lotus Notes.
What are steps and what do we need to look out for?
What functionality is lost vs MSOutlook integration?

My question had to do with what entry to make during setup as far as SMTP
server for system notifications as the client does not use Exchange/Outlook.
That has been determined as any SMTP server will do, not just Exchange.
The client wants SharePoint (WSS)... so is there anything else to look out
for from this angle?

Make sure that the SMTP server you point to is configured to accept relays
from Project Server. Also, certain SMTP servers require CR LF at each line
ending, which Project Server doesn't send. You'll know whether you're
running on a compatible SMTP server based on the appearance of the email
received.
