I have just downloaded InelliSync for MSN. After some testing I have
discovered that when used to Sync Outlook's calendar it does not work well
and it messes up entries in Outlook.
Since the only items I have tried so far is recurring appointments
(Anniversaries and Birthdays) those are the once I have trouble with. The
problem is when synchronizing from MSN Hotmail calendar to Outlook, every
entry becomes 2-3 days instead of one day entry.
The next problem seem to be related to the above. The MSN Hotmail calendar
(I think this only applies to the paid 250 megabyte accounts) has the
capability to Share calendar with other users. When identical entry is
shared between two users, such entry is shown on the correct date and also
the on the day before. I have not explored this too much and do not know if
this is somehow related to having a reminders set to send e-mail the day
before but since the entries are shown correctly with out sharing then I do
not think is the case.
In addition to all the above problems, since Outlook has only one reminder
and MSN Hotmail has two reminders (plus few other small differences), you
can not use one or the other to keep a "master" that would be identical,
just in case.
