interested in the 07 Beta but don't want to lose 03

I am interested in trying the office 2007 beta, but I see that the it will
begin to operate in reduced functionality after a few months. If I don't buy
the final release of 2007 right away. Am I going to lose some of the
functionality of my 2003 SBE? How do I keep this from happening?

Hi Fullcar,

Office software that you have a paid license on, such as Office 2003, will continue to work. Only beta and trial versions have
expiration dates and will let you view files, but not create or edit new ones once they expire.

Note that it is 'pre-release' software and that Microsoft does not recommend using it for every day production use in place of a
purchased MS Office product. You'll find more information through the links below
